One-To-One Class Information & FAQ
How To Book
Contact us via the form on the class page. Make sure to specify the length of class that you would like to take, and the dates you are available. Once the date and time has been agreed, we’ll send you a link to pay.
We offer two booking options
Pay Deposit - you can opt to pay a £150 non-refundable deposit to reserve your one-to-one class. We will then invoice you 8 weeks before the start of the class to pay the remaining balance. This balance must be paid 6 weeks before the start of the class, or your booking will be cancelled.
Pay In Full - you can opt to pay the full ticket cost up front. This includes a non-refundable deposit of £150.
Changing The Date Of Your One-To-One Class
If you would like change the date of your one-to-one class, please email us at info@balfourand.co at least 8 weeks in advance to let us know. We can then arrange an alternative date.
A rescheduling fee of £35 will be charged.
Cancelling Your One-To-One Class Booking
If you have to cancel your one-to-one class booking, please notify us by emailing info@balfourand.co
For cancellations made more than six weeks before the class, any fees paid over and above the £150 deposit will be refunded.
No refunds can be made to those who cancel within six weeks of the one-to-one class start date.
All deposits are non-refundable. If you pay your booking in full, this still includes a non-refundable deposit of £150.

I’ve never woven before. Is this class suitable for beginners?
This class is intended for people who already have some background in weaving and want to build their skills further. However, it can also be tailored to beginners. Please get in touch via the form above to discuss your requirements with us.
Where does the class take place?
The workshop takes place in my weaving studio in East London. The closest station is Hackney Wick.
What materials will be used?
We will be working with a cotton warp and wool weft. You are also welcome to bring your own materials!
Can I get a loom to take home?
For an additional fee, you can request a tapestry loom to take home from your one-to-one class. You can also order one of our rug looms.
