Shipping Costs

We’re thrilled to announce that we are once again shipping our ALL our products to the EU!

Shipping Times

Orders are collected from our studio on Wednesdays each week. Please ensure you place your order by 2pm on Tuesday to be included in that week’s shipment.

You will receive a shipping notification and tracking information from us once your order has been collected.

  • UK orders arrive in 1-2 working days

  • International orders arrive in 3-4 working days, but can take longer

Collection is available from Big Yellow Storage reception Monday-Fridays 10am-5pm, and on select weekends. If you select the pick-up option at the check out, we will be in touch directly to arrange a day for you to collect from us.

Please note our studio is not open to the public and we are not able to accomodate unscheduled pick-ups!

Refunds & Returns

In-Person Workshops

If for any reason you are unable to make the tapestry weaving or rug weaving workshop you have booked, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing info@balfourand.co 

Tapestry Weaving Workshops

You can cancel your workshop ticket or opt to reschedule onto another workshop. However, due to the upfront costs of hosting our workshops, we are only able to offer refunds or transfers once someone else has taken your workshop spot. We are also unable to guarantee that your ticket will be taken by someone else, so please take care when booking that you can definitely make your class.

Rug Weaving Workshops

NOTE: For 2024 we have updated our workshops booking policy. All Rug Weaving Workshops booked after January 1st 2024 are subject to this policy.

For cancellations made more than six weeks before the start of the workshop, any fees paid over and above the £120 deposit will be refunded. 

No refunds can be made to those who cancel within six weeks of the workshop start date. 

All deposits are non-refundable. If you pay your booking in full, this still includes a non-refundable deposit of £120.


Online Courses

If you sign up for an online course and are either unable to complete it due to internet connectivity issues or other access issues, you must contact us within 21 days of the start of the course in order to cancel your enrolment and receive a full refund.

We are not able to offer refunds after 21 days.


Yarn & Weaving Supplies

Returns

If a product you ordered is not what you were expecting, please let us know within 21 days of receiving it. We will then provide a return address for you to ship it back to us, or you can drop it off at our studio. Once we have received the product back we will refund you in full.

If you need to return something please contact us here.

We are not able to process returns if we are notified after 21 days.

Undelivered or Refused Orders

In the event that an order cannot be delivered and is returned to us, we are able to post it to you again if an updated delivery address is provided and an additional shipping charge is paid.

If an order is refused due to unpaid customs charges, we are not able to resend it.

Please note if your order is returned to us undelivered or refused we are only able to offer a partial refund, minus the cost of shipping and additional charges that are incurred.

If we think there may be a problem shipping to your address, we will contact you to confirm details! Please also provide a telephone number so our delivery company is able to contact you.
